Bio

Amanda Voisard is a freelance photojournalist who recently relocated to Flagstaff, AZ. where she is represented by Zuma Press. Amanda, a graduate of Ohio University worked as a staff photographer 2006 to 2009 at The Palm Beach Post in south Florida. Prior to her experience in Florida, she was a staff photographer in Watertown, N.Y.

Photojournalism, as a craft of both photography and writing, fulfilled the storyteller in Amanda. She credits her family for her creativity and looks to her late father, a modern artist and sculptor, for motivation and inspiration.

Her work has been published in various newspapers, magazines, and online publications including The Palm Beach Post, Seattle Post-Intelligencer, Watertown Daily Times, Farmington Daily Times, MSNBC.com, TIME.com, MLB.com. FoxNews Sports, NE Law Magazine, Veterans Magazine, DOUBLEtruck Magazine, Grand Canyon Trust, and News Photographer Magazine. She is also a quarterly judge for the Wedding Photojournalism Association.
