A Fire, Port St. Lucie, Fl
Christy Bentley rests on the back of a fire truck as St. Lucie County Fire District firefighters battle a blaze on Monday, March, 26, 2007. Bentley, who rented the home said she was cooking in the kitchen and left the stove unattended. The smoke detector went off and she attempted to smother the flames. The house became fully engulfed and was a total loss.
